The mission of the Quinnipiac University Department of Public Safety is to provide a safe and secure environment for the university community through the efficient and effective use of resources such as education, crime prevention, technology and enforcement activities. The Annual Security and Fire Report, commonly referred to as the Annual Security Report, is completed each year by Quinnipiac University in compliance with relevant provisions of federal law (the Clery Act, which is section 485(f) of the Higher Education Act and the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013, Public Law 113-14) and state law (Connecticut General Statute Section 10a-55 and Public Law 101-542, as amended).
